LIGHTHOUSE

At RESTORE we recognize that body shop is a service that combines manual and mental work with the knowledge to restore your car to its original condition and shape after a crash that has dented the chassis or removable design parts and that's why we make sure that our technician is always meticulous in measurements and always aware of new technologies. Every type of crash can be brought back to factory measurements by honing, replacing or forging knocked out parts and using the reliable metric systems we use.

The welding is done with various techniques such as oxygen welding (in the past), welding with Argon or with electrodes nowadays. In the body shop we also include the work of disassembling and fitting the various damaged parts that we need to replace to restore the car to its original form and condition. We always install new assembly clips where needed to avoid any squeaks from the plastic parts that fit the iron or aluminum parts and we always check the joints and welds to get an excellent repair result.

In the joints and joints, we provide anti-rust protection by applying the appropriate primers and joint adhesives. We put candles in the closed places to avoid corrosion inside the sheet metal. In every repair we bring the bumps and potholes as best as we can so that we put as little putty as possible or even none in some cases and so we can have an excellent surface ready for painting avoiding future holes or seats from the many materials.

We also include repairs of plastic parts of the body such as the plastic bumpers that are mainly broken or cut by small accidents or parking in the neighborhoods. Repairs to plastic parts are usually done with homogeneous welding so that we do not have the risk of breakage.

In other words, we glue the plastic bumper with the same material of its construction to have a glue that is essentially a seam of the surfaces and we do not use 2-component glues or others in order not to have future detachments and cracks. The only cases we repair with various adhesives are those where the material itself is non-adhesive and you request it from the customer or we recommend it to reduce the cost of spare parts.
